La Quinta California Real Estate: Let's start a Black Friday for Home Buyers

Let's start a Black Friday for Home Buyers

Let's start a Black Friday for Home buyers. Here are some ideas to get people waiting in line all night to buy homes.

If you buy a home between 5 am  - noon on the Friday after Thanksgiving you can get a $1000 bonus from your realtor, $400 from you loan officer, a $200 home warranty, a $200 inspection, $a 200 reduction in escrow fees, and let's get the government to throw in a $1000 tax credit too. Total savings $3000!

Let's make this our goal to encourage our local, state, and national associations to back this plan or a similar plan to build real estate sales that will benefit sellers, buyers, real estate agents, brokers, services, and the whole economy as well.

We have one year to get this organized. Let's start now!

How creative is that? Maybe you're onto something. The Black Friday concept is really spreading. Today I saw an ad for Black Friday cars and an ad for Black Cat Friday at the town shelter.

I think that we missed the bandwagon this year. I wrote a post on it last night. This was the black friday sale in real estate. Hopefully potential buyers will start to understand that.

Great idea - but unfortunately, in April the Federal Reserve made it illegal for loan officers to pay for stuff.  Maybe the mortgage company/bank could do it instead....

Love the ideas that we can come up with to generate the activity.  Especially, with the current buyer attitudes of, "What's in it for me?"

Thanks for all of your comments. I have been talking to other agents about this too and they are in! I am going to email the idea to our local, state, and national boards. Who knows, this may catch on and make sales for  all of us.
