Here are some qualities to look for in a real estate agent. Now more than ever it is important to have a professional, knowledgeable, and top notch agent.

1. Has completed at least 500 transactions

2. Is available everyday

3. Has a competent team to assist all the time

4. Knows the inventory

5. Good negotiator on putting a deal together

6. Follows up and pays attention to details

7. Stays in touch during and after the deal is closed

8. has a complete service team - ie home inspectors, lenders, cleaners, painters, gardeners, etc.

9. is respected in the community and has a good relationship with other brokers and real estate agents

10. Is friendly, fun, and a good sense of humor

11. Understands what is important for resale

Yes, Lori, definitely things to consider when choosing a realtor. You certainly wouldn't want to go to a doctor or dentist that didn't have much experience and knowledge.
