La Quinta California Real Estate: Talk less, say more

Talk less,say more

As realtors, we all talk alot. I feel one of the keys to success is to say as little as possible. This will save alot of time and also will protect you legally.

Being clear and concise really makes for a better and more professional life. Also, it is important to not say anymore than we have to in any situation.

As realtors, we can see our success skyrocket if we listen more than talk. Talk less, say more.

What is funny is when s a sales person talks so much they talk their people out of a decision.

I think the lady above said it right... we just "heard" that happen in the office this morning!  Kathy

I agree! Somehow I still seem to jabber too much, because I get comfortable with people quickly.

Thanks for the comments. I am still learning to listen more than talk. It sure saves alot of energy.

As the old saying goes, God gave us one mouth and two ears for a very good reason.  Listen at least twice as much as you speak.  I will try to keep this in mind and overcome the tendency to fill the silences that tend to make me anxious.  Thanks for the reminder, Lori>
