We have a short sale listing where the owner is in process of moving from the area. Last eveing about 9 PM I get a call from a neighbor who says she saw a dog out in the street- a pit bull . She said she went outside and tried her neighbors door and let the dog in. She did not know whose dog it was, but knew they had a dog so put it in their house. She then calls me and out office. Usually, I am asleep by 9 PM but I did answer the phone. I contacted the owner who was in San Diego, but said he would drive the 2 hours to deal with the dog and see who the dog is. He came back and set the dog out of the house. It all worked out. The dog did not belong to the owner of the hom,e, but had done no damage to the home. The owner tied the pit bull up outside the home and another neighbor claimed the dog. What a dama! As usual, it all worked out. I could not believe someone would put a dog into a vacant home at 9 PM at night and then call the realtors- over the top!

How did the neighbor get the dog in the house? Had the owner left the door unlocked? Bizarro!
Now that is a crazy story!
