Good Old Fashioned Ways to Generate more Business

Recently, I decided to take all of the ideas I have used over the years and put them into action to generate the most positive energy and most business possible. The results have been amazing. Not only am I happier and the people around me are too, my business is flourishing- I am attracting all good! Here are a few ideas I use daily.
1. I move fast- energy breeds energy. I also have lost a few pounds by just making a conscious effort to move faster.
2. I make a effort to smile. It is contagious and makes people wonder what you've been up to.
3. I chant affirmations while I am driving- I love my life
I do what I love and I love what I do
I am alive, excited, and full of energy.
I have several more.
4. I read active rain and watch Tom Ferry on You Tube.
5. I watch less news on TV.
6. I do at least one nice thing everyday for someone that they do not know who did it.
7. I make a gratitude list each day.
8. I spend time with the people I love.
9. I exercise, eat healthy, and get plenty of rest.
Each day is a gift. I am happy and I do love my life

Sitting down with my agents, creating goals for 2010

Today i have scheduled private talks with each one of my agents.  Although I spend so much time with them, and know them like a family it is always good to sit down and discuss set backs as well as goals.  Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of real estate, things are forgotten are set aside and we need to reflect on things to learn and to grow.

So today as I talk with each agent we are formulating a goal, a game plan and strategies to achieve those individual goals in 2010. I work with a team of over achievers, so setting the bar high is not an issue. In working out goals for business it is also important to write out personal goals and dreams as well.  After all life is a bout balance and what good is chasing the almighty dollar if you dont have the time or ability to enjoy it.

What are you doing different for 2010?  How does your office assist you?

Team Caravan

Each week our team picks an area to view homes after our meeting. One agent previews the area and picks the 5 best homes to view. They present background on the area and the homes at the meeting and then we all go view. It is interesting to get the comments from agents who we know so well. Each agent has such unique observations and opinions on the homes. We also get good conversations and feedback during the travel time to the homes and between the homes

How do you caravan?  Does everyone participate?

Planning for 2010 a New Way for a New Year

Each year I reflect on the past year and set my goals for the new year. This year because of the current economy and situation, my team members and I are doing it alittle differently.
1. Get a credit report if you haven ot gotten one on yourself within the past 3 months. Talk with a lender or financial advisor on how to improve your credit score and work on it.
2. Take an honest inventory of all assets and liabilities including old gold, odd pieces of land you may have forgotten about, cars, motorcycles, golf carts, travel trailers, any other possessions.
3. If your net worth is near zero or below talk to a bankruptcy and tax attorney even if that is not that direction you think you want to go. It is good to gather information.
4. Now, we are ready to take an inventory of how much money was made in 2009 and how much money is going to be made in 2010.
5. How was the money made in 2009? How will we make the money in 2010?
How will we get the clients, leads, buyers, sellers?
6. Take out the calendar for 2010 and mark off the vacation and holiday days off.
7. Mark off other days off
8. Now start marking what you will do on the days you are working to make the most money you have ever made in the least time possible.
9. Write down 3 things you want to accomplish in 2010. This can be for fun, for good health, for wealth, whatever excites you. If you write it down, it is 7000 times more likely to happen.
2010 will be the best year ever in all ways!

5 niche markets to consider to get sales now

1. Pet owners - 63% of U.S. households own pets. That is 69 million households. If you share a passion for pets, let our prospects know you will treat their furry friends right.
2. Golfers- There are over 28 million adult golfers in the United States. Where I live in La Quinta, California, golf course communities are the mainstay of our area and how beautiful they are!
3. College students' parents - There are over 15 million undergraduates enrolled in 2 or 4 year institution and it continues to rise. Help parents hedge high rental cost with a condo for their college student.
4. Retirees- The number of people age 65 or older was 65.6 million in 2002 and will increase to over 71.5 million by 2030. Cash in on the condo craze by selling empty nesters on the idea of scaling back.
5. Boaters - About 71 million Americans participate in recreational boating. Whether you're working on the waterfrontor targeting inland  enthusiasts, you'll make a splash and alot of sales too by targeting boaters' unique needs.
