Bank of America let this client livein the house and not make payments for almost 2 years. They rejected a loan modification and told the client to do a short sale. I got an offer higher than any home has sold there for many years. The short sale has been in process for about a month and an extension to delay the sale was in process. I get a call from an investor who is on the court house steps waiting to bid on the home. He was nice enough to call me back and let me know it was sold to a different investor.
The seller is livid. He was so mad at the bank, at me, at the world as his house was auctioned. I am exhasuted by his calls and ranting. I do feel bad for him, but after having the home for nearly 2 years with no payments, I do not really look at him like a victim.
Just another sad ending to a short sale story.
