I love this time of year when I am driving to the office and see all the little kids walking to school. They are full of laughter and smiles and so happy to see friends they haven"t seen all summer. With all the new bright white shoes and the colorful clothing, it makes me remember back to my youth. It was always fun to get new school clothes and supplies.
So what does school being in session have to do with Real Estate? Well for us here in the desert it is a sign that summer is almost over and soon the cooler temperatures of fall will be here. More importantly in our line of work ~ with more families home from summer vacations , there are more people around to buy homes. Also with kids back to school, more families are willing to put their home on the market because it is easier to show when the kids are at school. It is a win win for all of the snowbirds who come back to town, more inventory to see and buy. Which equals more sales for me !
So seeing the school bus picking up kids this time of year always makes me smile!
