These are the results from an August sruvey of 417 realtors who responded to a survey from Realtor Magazine. Percentages are rounded off to the nearest whole number.
Here are the results:
54% Unemployment
25% Lack of capital
19% Distressed properties
2% Don't know
This does seem to be the issue of life in America right now- lack of jobs which equals lack of money. The distressed properties also lower our income as realtors. That accounts for 98% of our challenges. What surprised me is that there are actually 9 realtors out of 417 realtors that 'don't know' what is the biggest challenge facing real estate!
